BAINBRIDGE – The Spartan girls lacrosse team unleashed an unrelenting offensive attack to dominate Kennedy Catholic 20-1 earlier this week at Memorial Stadium.
Bainbridge’s team contributions on Tuesday night were numerous.
Senior standout Robin Hilderman led the field with five goals, two assists and five draw controls.
Spartan sophomore Mackenzie Chapman added three goals, four assists and four draws with junior teammate Sophia Hagstromer coming in with three goals, three assists and one draw control. Senior Sonia Olson poured in three goals and came up with two draw possessions. Freshman Bella Jackson and junior Kiera Havill each scored two goals, with Havill racking up an assist and two possessions off the draw.
Senior Amy Willerford and junior Hannah Elzig also got into the action; each scored one goal with Willerford picking up three ground balls. Freshman Maddie Fountain contributed one draw control and snagged three ground balls for BHS.
Kennedy’s Ashley Cusack netted the sole goal while their goalie, Ruth Zekariase, had eight saves.
Bainbridge’s record is 3-0 for the season with the win.
