BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge Spartans are looking for a new coach to lead the boys golf team.
Austin Hurt, who has led the boys program for the last two years, resigned his position at the end of last month.
Hurt said he would stay on until this year’s state golfing tournament, scheduled for May 22-23.
“It has been fun the last two years,” Hurt wrote in his resignation letter, and he added he was extremely grateful for the opportunity.
Scheduling difficulties with his work, Hurt said, will prevent him from continuing on as coach, but he added that he would be happy to help with any future coaches the Spartans bring on board.
