BHS boys hoopsters fall 57-42 to S.Prep

The Bainbridge High varsity boys basketball team suffered their first postseason loss on the road at the hands of Seattle Preparatory Thursday, Feb. 13.

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity boys basketball team suffered their first postseason loss on the road at the hands of Seattle Preparatory Thursday, Feb. 13.

The final score was 57-42.

Seattle Prep gained a considerable lead almost immediately, leading 15-7 at the end of the first quarter.

Things had not improved when, at the end of the first half, after the Spartans closed but still trailed 22-16.

Trent Schulte led the BHS scoring effort with nine points total.

Joey Blacker and Oskar Dieterich each managed to contribute seven points throughout the game.

The game’s point leader was Seattle Prep’s Aaron Nettles, who ended the night with 14 points.
