Led by a senior and a freshman, Bainbridge High School beat Port Angeles in boys swimming last week 143-37.
-Spartan senior Oskar Bannister won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute 50.39 seconds. Teammate sophomore Jason Geddes was second.
-He also won the 100 free in 50.29 seconds, with seniors Harrison Villella second and Eamon Greathouse third.
-Bannister also was on the winning 200 free relay team in 1:31.98. Joining him were Villella, Finn Wenker and Jason Nordgren.
-Bannister also was on the victorious 400 free relay team, winning in 3:29.20 with freshman Aidan Cole, Villella and Colin McDevitt.
-Cole won two other events.
-He took the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:13.39. Teammate senior Alex Miller placed second.
-Cole also won the 500 free in 5:20.84, with junior Curtis Stewart second.
-Another standout freshman, Elias Dean, won the 100 backstroke in 1:00.79. Junior William Bang-Knudsen was second.
-BHS won the 200 medley relay in 1:40.28. That all junior team consisted of McDevitt, Thomas Witty, Wenker and Nordgren.
-BHS swept the top three spots in the 50 free with Nordgren first in 22.88 seconds followed by McDevitt and Villella.
-Witty took first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.84. Wenker was second and senior Jacques Dafawe third.
-In the 100 butterfly, Wenker won with a 54.92 clocking, followed by teammates McDevitt and Stewart.
-There were only two divers in the 1-meter board with senior Henry Sauermann first with 192.90 points.
