Bainbridge High School lineman particpated in a one-day camp at Lakewood High School in Snohomish County July 29.
They finished fifth overall with 12 team points. Anacortes won with 16. North Kitsap had 13.
The Spartans were second in the 4 by 100, second in the six-man sled drive, third in the tire toss and fifth in the bench press.
NK was second in the tire toss, third in the bench press, third in the six-man sled drive, fourth in the tug-of-war and fifth in the tire flip relay.
It was the last camp before practices begin in mid-August.
New BHS football coach Dan Schoonmaker says the biggest benefit of going to the camps is to improve the camaraderie and help the players bond together as a team. The Spartan backfield and receivers did not participate as many were on vacation.
