TACOMA – The Bainbridge varsity wrestling team placed eighth out of 16 teams at a tournament held at Fife High School in Tacoma last weekend.

Several Spartans gave standout performances, including Jack Miller and Liam Topham who earned first-place finishes in their respective weight classes as well as Joaquin Gurza and Aaron Jumpa, who both earned third-place finishes.

The team hosted two home matches this week. First, against Ballard on Tuesday and then a joint match against Franklin and Nathan Hale Thursday.
