Bainbridge is trailing Issaquah 8-5 at halftime of the Washington girls state lacrosse championship game.
The Spartans got on the board first and led 1-0 after a goal by Sonia Olson at the 22:12 mark, but the contest quickly became a back-and-forth battle in the early minutes of the title game.
The contest saw three tie scores before Issaquah jumped in front, 4-3 with less than 10 minutes in the first half and began to pull away.
Issaquah led 8-4 before senior Spartan Paige Brigham scored with 5 seconds left in the first half.
