Crown Royal wins Bainbridge mens softball title

Crown Royal defeated Slainte 17-5 to take the 2014 Bainbridge Metro Park and Rec District Mens Softball Championship.

BAINBRIDGE – Crown Royal defeated Slainte 17-5 to take the 2014 Bainbridge Metro Park and Rec District Mens Softball Championship.

Crown Royal knocked off league-leading Slainte after escaping with an 8-5 win over Avalara 1 in the semi-finals.

Slainte advanced to the championship game by besting Avalara 2 with a score of 14-5.

The Crown Royal team is Daniel George, Vincent Chargualaf, Tyler George, Andrew Joe, Michael Bellinger, Chad Kakala, Daniel Rapada, Jerry Marquez, Jimmy Boure, Kuaika Peleti, Tanner Meyney, Angelo Ritualo, Chris Sullivan, Jeff Purser, David Lord, Tyler Sullivan, Rouben Smith, Joey Schnetter and Tino Peleti.

Slainte players are Justin O’Brien, Michael O’Brien, Ben Page, Todd Meters, Jeremy Bjornson, Jon Laeger, Luke Swanson, John Peterson, Quinton Jackson, Doug Christopherson, Nate Durrance, Jacob LeBeouf, David Day and Andrew Ledbetter.
