District competition schedule Feb. 12-13

Bainbridge will participate in the following district events this weekend.

Gymnastics

Seven Spartans will compete in the District I and II gymnastics meet at Sammamish High School Saturday.

Bainbridge will march in at 3:45 p.m. and begin competition at 3:55 p.m.

Four all-around gymnasts and 11 individuals will advance to state.

Swimming

The swim team’s next competition is the Sea-King District II meet at Mercer Island’s Mary Wayte Pool this weekend.

Preliminary rounds begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday and finals will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The top five finishers in each event will automatically advance to the state meet. An individual or relay can also advance by recording a state-qualifying time.

Bainbridge will be swimming in lane three in both the preliminary and final rounds.

Wrestling

Eight wrestlers in seven weight classes will compete in the regional tournament at Liberty High School Saturday.

Wrestlers who finish in the top four of each weight class will advance to the state meet.
