Eisenhardt to play for Seattle U.

Ben Eisenhardt, a 6-foot-10 senior who led Bainbridge High School in scoring last season with 13.9 points per game, has verbally agreed to play basketball at Seattle University.

Eisenhardt was an All-Metro League second-team selection during the 2007-08 season. He also averaged 8.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 2.2 blocks per game.

BHS Coach Steve Henderson said Seattle is a good fit for Eisenhardt athletically and academically, and it was important that the school is close to home. He is the son of Ted and Kellan Eisenhardt, owners of Bainbridge Athletic Club.

“He’ll be the guy for us this season,” Henderson said. “He’s very skilled for a big man. He shoots well, passes well. ”
