Both the Bainbridge High School varsity basketball teams, girls and boys, were defeated on the road by Garfield.

First, on Tuesday, Jan. 8, the boys came up short 62-43, dropping their overall season record to 6-9.

Then, on Wednesday, Jan. 9, the girls were bested 78-43, likewise leaving them with an overall season record of 6-9.

Both teams returned home Friday, Jan. 11 to host Ballard.
