The Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team suffered a 74-57 loss at home Monday against Garfield.

It was the island squad’s last home game of the year.

The loss left the Spartans with an overall season record of 11-8 (9-6 in conference) and just one game on the regular schedule: a 6 p.m. matchup against Eastside Catholic (17-1) on the road Friday, Feb. 7.

Garfield remains the number two team in the Metro League (13-5 overall), with Eastside Catholic in the top spot.
