The Gear Grinders Mountain Bike Team, part of the Washington Student Cycling League, will host a team information meeting early next month for those interested in learning more about the sport.

The meeting is planned for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center. Team officials will share details about mountain biking and the high school team’s training schedule, team activities, race schedule and locations, and coaches. Girls and guys in grades nine through 12 and their parents are welcome.
