Hoops season begins at BHS

It may be getting colder out there by this time of year, but things are definitely heating up inside the Bainbridge High School gymnasium, as both returning and aspiring members of the Bainbridge High boys basketball team hit the court for three days of tryouts starting Monday, Nov. 18.

It may be getting colder out there by this time of year, but things are definitely heating up inside the Bainbridge High School gymnasium, as both returning and aspiring members of the Bainbridge High boys basketball team hit the court for three days of tryouts starting Monday, Nov. 18.

With the team roster in the final stages of completion Thursday, Nov. 21, the boys won’t have much time to get in the swing of things.  While the rest of the island may still be recovering from a turkey coma, they’ll be on the court for the first game of the season, on the road, against Sumner High School at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.

The first home game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 in the BHS main gymnasium.
