BAINBRIDGE –  The sixth annual Island Cup youth soccer tournament will return to Bainbridge Island fields Friday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 21.

The tournament is open to Washington Youth Soccer (WYS) teams, US Club teams, US Youth Soccer teams from across the country, youth teams from Canada and teams that are properly insured with an organization. The Island Cup is sanctioned under WYS.

The registration deadline is Sunday, July 31.

The Island Cup divisions are: U9 boys & girls (must be born in 2008), 7v7; U10 boys & girls (must be born in 2007), 7v7; U11 boys & girls (must be born in 2006), 9v9; U12 boys & girls (must be born in 2005), 9v9; U13 boys & girls (must be born in 2004), 11v11; U14 boys & girls (must be born in 2003), 11v11.

The fees are $295 per U9 and U10 team, $395 per U11 and U12 team and $495 per U13 and U14 team.
