KINGSTON – The Bainbridge High varsity girls basketball team earned their third win of the year on the road, against Kingston High, Thursday, Dec. 22.
The final score was 54-33.
Olivia Wikstrom led the Spartan offensive. She had 19 points and shot seven for 12 from the field.
Kiera Havill finished the night with 11 points. Taylor Tye had nine.
Freshman Kendall Havill managed five points, five assists and three steals.
The victory elevated the girls’ season record to 3-5 (1-4 in league) and put them in the seventh spot in the Metro standings, behind Rainier Beach (first), Bishop Blanchet (second), Seattle Prep (third), West Seattle (fourth), Garfield (fifth) and Roosevelt, Cleveland, Ballard, Chief Sealth and Lakeside (all tied for sixth).
The Spartans will play at home again at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 against Sequim.
