Ainsley gained 121 yards on six carries for three touchdowns on runs of 60, 32 and 15 yards, while Preble gained 116 yards on six rushes and scored twice on rambles of 68 and nine yards.Also contributing to the ground game were Andrew Shelton and Bobby Stowell. Breslin led the way with six tackles and two pass interceptions, while Michael Ersser contributed five tackles and Carl Webster pressured the Poulsbo quarterback all afternoon long.Wauters made four of five extra-point kicks, and quarterback Joey Picha completed 3 of 5 passes to Breslin, Preble and Aaron Olanie.The Spartans (3-0) next play Central Kitsap Junior High in a 3:30 p.m. Thursday contest at Silverdale Stadium.Krafcik, Lund top Duathlon winnersMarty Krafcik and Bainbridge’s Lisa Lund were the top male and female finishers in Sept. 24’s third annual Bainbridge Duathlon.Krafcik, of Bremerton, finished the Battle Point Park course in 1 hour, 17.08 minutes, while Lund, a veteran of local races, finished 25th overall in 1:38.08.Altogether, 83 adults and 32 kids took part in the event, the best showing in the Duathlon to date. Taylor Lea, 11, was the kids’ 5K winner, completing the course in 22:32. Isabel Williams, 10, was the top finisher among girls, posting a time of 24:02.Spikers thrash Port AngelesBainbridge High School’s volleyball team continued its winning ways with a straight-set 15-3, 15-9, 15-7 victory at Port Angeles Tuesday.
