The Lakeside Lions blanked the Bainbridge Spartans 3-0 in girls varsity soccer late last week.

Last Thursday’s matchup at Bainbridge High Memorial Stadium was the first of two games the Spartans will play against Lakeside this season.

The rematch, a road game for Bainbridge in Seattle, is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The loss to Lakeside dropped the Spartans’ record to 0-5-0 in league play (1-5-1 overall). The Lions improved to 3-1-1 in Metro action with the victory.
