Bainbridge
2022 record: 7-4 (53-24)

Key players- Senior Aidan McLennan
Outlook: Bainbridge boys have a lot of depth on the court. However, only one of Bainbridge’s three state qualifiers returns as half of a doubles team. In addition, McCombs will need to find a new ace on the singles side. However, never count out the Spartans in the Olympic League.

North Kitsap

Key players- Senior Mason Chmielewski and juniors Dayshawn Harper and Indigo Gallagher-Zapf
Outlook: North Kitsap turned heads at the state tournament in the spring of last season. The main attraction was alternate Dayshawn Harper making a run to the podium. In addition, a handful of the doubles partners reunite for hopefully a deeper run at state.

Outlook: Kingston had one of its toughest seasons in recent history. Calogero will look to provide some depth so the Bucs can compete alongside their foes.

Outlook: Gonzalez boosted Olympic’s winning total to three times higher than the previous season. Although a few players have graduated, she has a few young players with potential in the long run.

Outlook: Bremerton lost two of its top three doubles teams, including its state-qualifying duo. With many new faces, Bremerton will be scrambling to field strong doubles squads and an ace on the singles side. However, the Knights should still be competitive in the Olympic League.

Outlook: Even though Central Kitsap struggled in the postseason, all of its top players return for their senior campaign. The Cougars should be dangerous in their league and postseason this year.

Outlook: South Kitsap’s struggles continue on the tennis courts. Luckily, only one player graduated, giving the Wolves hope they can develop and jump up the standings this season.

Key players: Senior Eli Kraft and juniors Camden Dickey, Nolan Rowe and Carson Langguth
Outlook: Klahowya returns its second-best doubles squad and top two singles players. In addition, the Eagles had a few young talents on their roster that can fill the shoes at the varsity level. Therefore, Klahowya’s success on the tennis court should be repeated this season.
