O’Dea falls to Bainbridge in boys lacrosse

Max Wickline scored three goals to lead Bainbridge to its seventh boys high school lacrosse win of the spring with a 12–6 doubling up of O’Dea  Wednesday at Battle Point Park.

The Spartans rolled to a 7–2 lead at the intermission then cruised to the win with five second-half goals.

Wickline also had three assists and one ground ball in the game. Fellow Spartan Ben LaRoche added two goals, two assists and eight ground balls, while Michael Rose contributed two goals for the Spartans.

Reynolds Yarbrough finished with seven saves between the pipes for BHS.

The victory improved Bainbridge to 7-6-0.

Siam Owen and Nathan West had two goals each and goaltender Seamus Courtney had 24 saves for the Fighting Irish.
