The Joggers Mile produced an unprecedented four-way tie for first place, with Sam Sellers, Michael Sydor, Heidi Washenberger and John Washenberger all finishing one second off their predicted times. Ideal conditions once again produced a turnout of nearly 200. The series continues on Mondays through the end of August.
The Bainbridge Island Little League 11-12-year-old softball All-Stars traveled five hours across the state to the home of the Washington state Little League softball tournament hosted by Walla Walla Little League last weekend. Bainbridge participated in the tournament with nine other teams from across the state.
