The Spartans (25-6) will take on Capital in the first round of the 3A state tournament at 1 p.m. Friday.
With a win, the third-seeded Spartans would play either Spokane or Franklin Pierce in the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.
With a loss, Bainbridge would enter the consolation bracket at 5 p.m.
On their way to the state title, the Spartans entered the tournament as the third seed last year.
The Spartans could meet 2009 runner-up Holy Names in the semifinals. The teams have split their meetings this season, with Bainbridge winning the regular-season match-up 13-1, and Holy Names coming out on top in the District semifinals 7-6.
