The Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team scored a 57-52 win against Ballard on the road Friday, Jan. 17.
It was the team’s first outing after a flurry of snow days earlier in the week caused at least one game to be postponed.
The win upped the island team’s overall record to 7-7 (5-5 in league play) and left them ranked ninth in the Metro standings.
The Spartans will play again at home at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, against Ingraham.
