Spartan girls stay stellar in golf

BAINBRIDGE - The Bainbridge High girls varsity golf team scored a commanding win, 117-70, over the visitors from Eastside Catholic last Thursday during the team’s first home match of the season at Wing Point Golf & Country Club.

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High girls varsity golf team scored a commanding win, 117-70, over the visitors from Eastside Catholic last Thursday during the team’s first home match of the season at Wing Point Golf & Country Club.

It was the squad’s second straight win of the season so far, earning for them a perfect 2-0 overall record.

The top points earners of the match were Kiera Havill (32), Lucy Hanacek (31), Kendall Havill (29) and Taylor Tye (25).

Maddie Loverich managed 23, Sara Cooley racked up 22, Caitlin Slattery chipped in 21 and Nicole Daniels put up 20.
