SEATTLE – Girls just want to have fun — on the golf course that is.
Actually, it didn’t start out that way. When the Bainbridge High girls golf team were slated to play on the road against Chief Sealth Friday it was meant to be a real match.
However, when their opponents had too few players – and the few they had were injured – to make the competition official, the Spartan girls golf team played through anyway, just for fun.
The CS forfeit resulted in a technical 82-0 win for BHS, and yet another notch on their as-yet-undefeated team belt.
