Embarking on a five-match, at-home series to finish the regular season, the Bainbridge High School varsity girls golf team notched two successive wins to up their overall season record to 6-1.
They have not lost a game since their debut match, on Sept. 9, against Holy Names Academy.
First, against Cleveland on Sept. 25, the BHS girls cruised to a decisive 67-13 victory.
Then, on Sept. 30, the Spartans again scored big against Eastside Catholic, 109-42.
The top scores came from Kendall Havill (34 points), Anna Kozlosky (30), Maya Wilder (23) and Makena Miller (22).
All three matches remaining on the regular season schedule are slated to take place at Wing Point Golf & Country Club.
The island girls next faced Bishop Blanchet on Wednesday, and will host Garfield at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7.
