The Bainbridge Spartans quickly overpowered the Garfield Bulldogs in boys swimming and diving as BHS won 11 of 12 events in the final Metro meet before the holiday break.
The Spartans easily won the away meet by a score of 122-61.
Bainbridge took first place in every event except the 100-yard backstroke. The Spartans had district-qualifying times in the 200-yard freestyle, the 200-yard individual medley, the 50-yard freestyle, the 500-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke.
Bainbridge saw standout performances from sophomore Parker Bushey, and seniors David Jenkins and CJ Waite.
Bushey took first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.15, and also won the 100-yard freestyle in 53.50.
Jenkins also claimed two first-place finishes. He was first in the 200-yard IM, with a time of 2:14.40, and also won the 500-yard freestyle race in 5:17.64.
Waite finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:04.07.
