Spartans sink Lakeside in girls varsity LAX

BAINBRIDGE - What once was a feared matchup turned out to be target practice for the Spartans as Bainbridge easily beat Lakeside 16-2 in girls varsity lacrosse last week at Memorial Stadium.

BAINBRIDGE –  What once was a feared matchup turned out to be target practice for the Spartans as Bainbridge easily beat Lakeside 16-2 in girls varsity lacrosse last week at Memorial Stadium.

Bainbridge dominated from the first minutes of the contest and seven Spartans split the pipes for BHS in the score fest.

Robin Hilderman led the Spartans with four goals. She also had two ground balls, two draw controls and one caused turnover.

Ellen Carpenter finished with a hat trick in the contest with three more goals for BHS.

Paige Brigham, Mackenzie Chapman, Kiera Havill and Kyra Wortley added two goals each, while Sonia Olson contributed a goal and an assist.

The Spartans begin their playoff run at 7:30 p.m. Friday at home against Gig Harbor.
