The Bainbridge High School varsity boys lacrosse team hit the road and bested Nathan Hale Thursday, March 21, earning a decisive 18-3 win against the Raiders.
BHS goalie Dawson Friers managed four saves on seven shots, and several Spartans had stellar showings on the offensive side, including Merritt McMahon (nine goals), Jaden Mass (six), Chris Campbell (three), Riley Cawman (three), Charlie Hughes (two), Andrew Kenny (two), Max McLeod (two) and Ian Morosoff (one).
It was the Spartans’ fifth outing of the year, and their fifth straight win, elevating their overall season record to a flawless 5-0 (1-0 in league play).
The island squad will next play at home at 7 p.m. Friday, April 12 against Curtis in a non-league match.
