BAINBRIDGE – The Spartan varsity girls golf team advanced their perfect season record to 8-0 after an 83-41 win at home over the visiting team from Garfield High Thursday, Oct. 2.

Team captain Claire Lunzer and fellow Spartan returner Taylor Tye tied for the top score of the day with 24 points each.

Kiera Havill managed 19 points, and Emily Cohen contributed 16.

It was the team’s last home match of the regular season, with their next three slated to be on the road before the start of the Varsity Metro Tournament in Seattle on Tuesday Oct. 14.
