Spartans unstoppable at Ingraham in girls soccer

The Bainbridge Spartans unloaded on Ingraham and routed the Rams 7-0 in girls varsity soccer late last week at the Northwest Athletic Complex in Seattle.

The Bainbridge Spartans unloaded on Ingraham and routed the Rams 7-0 in girls varsity soccer late last week at the Northwest Athletic Complex in Seattle.

Kamie Coryell and Katherine Pecora each scored twice for Bainbridge in the lopsided win.

The Spartans struck early, Celia Story scoring after a pass from Riley Gregoire in the 5th minute.

Story fed Kate Matthews for the second score in the 20th minute.

Coryell scored the first of her two goals on an unassisted shot in the 32nd minute to put Bainbridge up, 3-0.

Pecora found the net in the 35th minute, with an assist from Gregoire.

Coryell tacked on another goal in the 39th minute (Mackenzie Chapman assist) for the 5-0 lead.

Gregoire picked up the Spartans’ sixth goal in the 43rd minute after a pass from Coryell, and Pecora closed out the scoring with her second goal in the 71st minute.
