BELLEVUE – The Bainbridge Spartan varsity girls lacrosse team continues to roll over its opponents.
The latest foes to fall before these so-strong Spartans was Newport
Sammamish Interlake. Bainbridge clobbered NSI 21-4 last week in a one-sided contest that saw 32 shots on goal and nine Spartans who split the posts for scores.
Leading the way again was scoring sensation Mackenzie Chapman.
Chapman had six goals in the contest. She also added two assists, three groundballs, eight draws and three caused turnovers.
Sophia Hagstromer zipped in four goals for BHS and dished six assists.
Maggie Sweeney finished with a hat trick, and added seven draws to go with her three goals.
Kendall Havill and Kiera Havill added two goals each, while their Spartan sisters Eleanor Collins, Shalia Perry, Abby Reibsamen and Sherry Madeleine contributed one goal each.
Goalie Thuy Ortiz finished with six saves for the Spartans, and with 10 shots on goal, had a save percentage of 60 percent.
