The Spartans batted in three runs in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings Friday.

Bainbridge sealed the win over Seattle Prep, 7-6 in the bottom of the ninth.

Softball

Seattle Prep forfeited Friday’s game. By league rule, the score was recorded as 7-0 and Bainbridge improved to 13-1 overall and 11-0 in the Metro.

Track and field

The Bainbridge girls and boys teams came in second and third, respectively, in Thursday’s home meet.

The girls squad scored 38 to Bishop Blanchet’s 85. Franklin placed third with 22.

The boys team scored 28 points. Bishop Blanchet finished with 70 and Franklin came in second with 44.
