The Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its Summer Golf Scramble, now in its 12th year, Aug. 14 at Wing Point Golf and Country Club.

The Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its Summer Golf Scramble, now in its 12th year, Aug. 14 at Wing Point Golf and Country Club.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

The cost per player is $110 and includes a cart, green fees, one qualifying try at the $25,000 putting contest, a shot at a hole-in-one valued at $20,000, two chances for a hole-in-one for other prizes, a possible cash payout of $3,000, a box lunch, a banquet dinner, raffle prizes, mulligans and a live auction.

Also back again as a live auction prize is a chance to play a round of golf and have dinner with KJR-AM sports talk radio hosts Mike Gastineau and Dave Grosby.

Those interested in filling out player applications can do so at the Chamber of Commerce office or online at www.bainbridgechamber.org.

There are also several openings for local businesses to sponsor a hole or donate a raffle prize.
