CROSSFIRE SELECT 1
Last weekend, the BU11 Blue team coached by Mike Klein and James Ritchie started the season with a 4-1 win over Crossfire Select. Anton Easterbrook and Forrest Englin scored, the latter off a pass from Evan Hanson. In the second half Crossfire made a number of strong runs but the defensive back line comprised of Derek Klein, Ben Scott, Mateo Florez, and Ryan Cox stopped all but one 35-yard punt that could not be defended. Cade Taylor had a great game in goal with a number of saves. Matias Francis scored with a pass from Englin to cap the Bravehearts’ first win. This week the Bravehearts face Arsenal.
