Club gymnastics
The Bainbridge Island Gymnastics Club hosted 200 gymnasts over the weekend at Woodward Middle School.
Senior Tim Forro – a level nine gymnast – placed third in the all-around with first-place finishes in floor and vault.
Level nine gymnast Bryan Peterson finished second in the all-around with a first-place finish on the parallel bars.
Nathaniel Opalski, a level seven gymnast, finished second in the all-around with first-place finishes on pommel horse and vault.
Eric Powell placed second overall in the 12-and-up age group with first-place finishes on pommel horse, rings, vault and high bar.

The Spartans will host West Seattle and Chief Sealth at 6 p.m. today.
Wrestling
Bainbridge competed defeated Nathan Hale 39-30 on the road Thursday.
