The week in Spartan sports begins on the road to Roosevelt High in Seattle for the Bainbridge boys C basketball team.

The week in Spartan sports begins on the road to Roosevelt High in Seattle for the Bainbridge boys C basketball team.

The C team will take on the Rough Riders at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8.

On Tuesday, Dec. 9, the Bainbridge boys swim team welcomes Eastside Catholic to the Bainbridge Aquatics Center. The meet — rescheduled from Dec. 5 — starts at 3:30 p.m.

Also Tuesday, the varsity and junior varsity boys basketball teams get their shot at Roosevelt. The two teams will head to Seattle for the Metro League battle; tipoff for the JV game is 5:45 p.m., the varsity game follows at 7 p.m.

The Spartan girls varsity and JV basketball teams also have a date with Roosevelt, on the Rough Riders’ home court on Wednesday, Dec. 10. The JV game starts at 5:45 p.m., the varsity game follows at 7 p.m.

On Thursday, Dec. 11, the Spartan wrestling team is on the road to Seattle, as well, for a match against O’Dea. The quad meet (also featuring Cleveland and Franklin) starts at 6 p.m. at O’Dea High.

On Friday, the Spartans come home and play a varsity basketball doubleheader against Garfield.

The varsity girls game starts at 6:30 p.m., with the tipoff for the boys varsity game at 8 p.m.

The girls JV game against Garfield is also in Paski Gymnasium, and starts at 3:30 p.m. The boys JV game against the Bulldogs is at 5 p.m.

The Spartans boys C team also plays Garfield in basketball Friday. Game time is 5 p.m. in the Commodore Gym.

Friday promises to be a busy day on the Spartan campus. The Bainbridge girls gymnastic team hosts Nathan Hale in a meet starting at 6 p.m. The boys swim team will also welcome Roosevelt for a meet that starts at 3:30 p.m. at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center.

The Spartan wrestling team also competes Friday, and will compete in a tournament hosted by Olympic at the Kitsap Fairgrounds in Silverdale. The meet starts at 5 p.m.

On Saturday, Dec. 13, the Spartan grapplers will head to Tacoma for a varsity wrestling tournament at Fife High. The tourney starts at 9:30 a.m.
