The Spartans begin this week with a Metro League coed varsity tennis match at home Monday, April 28 against Holy Names and O'Dea.

The match begins at 3:30 p.m. at the courts at the high school.

The junior varsity tennis team is on the road, playing Holy Names and O’Dea at Volunteer Park in Seattle.

Also on the boat today, the girls water polo team and the girls lacrosse team.

The water polo team is scheduled to play Mercer Island at Mercer Island.

Action for the Spartan girls varsity lacrosse team against Bellevue gets underway at 6 p.m. Monday at Interlake High.

On Tuesday, the varsity tennis team again plays at home against Eastside Catholic. Matches start at 3:30 p.m.

The JV tennis team will challenge Eastside Catholic at Newport Hills Tennis Club, with play starting at 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday is an away day for most of the other BHS teams, as well.

The boys varsity soccer team will play O’Dea at Interbay at 3:30 p.m.

The Spartan varsity fastpitch softball team will travel to Ingraham High to play the Rams in a rescheduled contest at 4 p.m.

The Spartan “C” baseball team visits North Kitsap for a game at 4:15 p.m.

The JV boys soccer team plays host to O’Dea at 6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

The Spartan lacrosse teams will play at home Wednesday, April 30.

The boys varsity team takes the field first at Battle Point Park at 5 p.m. for a matchup against O’Dea.

Back at Memorial Stadium, the girls JV lacrosse team welcomes Lake Sammamish for a game starting at 6 p.m. The girls varsity game follows at 7:45 p.m.

The Spartan girls water polo team will host Inglemoor at 4 p.m. at the Bainbridge Island Aquatics Center.

Also at home Wednesday, the Spartan varsity baseball team. The Spartans host Seattle Prep, and the first pitch is at 4 p.m.

The Spartan varsity girls softball team is on the road Wednesday for a game against Seattle Prep at View Ridge Playfield in Seattle.

The BHS JV baseball team will play Seattle Prep at Steve Cox Memorial Field in White Center, and the Bainbridge varsity tennis team takes on Seattle Prep at Lower Woodland Courts in Seattle.

On Thursday, May 1, the JV boys soccer team heads to Sammamish for a game against Eastside Catholic.

The BHS track team hosts Seattle Prep at Memorial Stadium Thursday, with events starting at 3:30 p.m.

Also at home Thursday, the JV softball team and the varsity boys soccer team. The Spartan fastpitch game against Olympic is at 4 p.m.; the soccer team faces the Crusaders at 7 p.m.

On Friday, the Spartan sailing team will take part in a varsity regatta at Silverdale Waterfront Park.

The BHS varsity baseball team plays Seattle Prep at Steve Cox Memorial Field in White Center, and the JV boys soccer squad goes against West Seattle at Walk Hundley Playfield in Seattle.

The JV and varsity girls lacrosse teams are also in Seattle on Friday, for contests against Lakeside.

Here on Bainbridge, the JV baseball team welcomes Seattle Prep for a game at 4 p.m. The JV softball team hosts Holy Names Academy at 4 p.m.

The Spartan girls varsity water polo will take on Shorewood at 4 p.m.  Friday at the Bainbridge Island Aquatics Center.

The BHS boys varsity soccer team welcomes West Seattle, with action starting at 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

Following that game on the same field, the boys varsity lacrosse matchup against Bishop Blanchet is at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

This week in Spartan sports wraps up on Saturday with Opening Day at the Montlake Cut in rowing, and varsity track invitationals at Lake Washington High in Kirkland and Shoreline Stadium.
