Following an exciting, record-breaking debut against Olympic High on Nov. 26, the Bainbridge High School girls varsity basketball team trudged through a trio of losses which saw their overall season record droop to 1-3.
First, at home, on Nov. 28, the Spartans were barely bested 56-52 by the visitors from Port Angeles.
Next, on Nov. 29, they suffered a 77-68 loss on the road against Sequim.
Finally, on Nov. 30, they were bested by Bishop Blanchet 81-62.
The island squad caught a slight break after that, and did not return to the court until Tuesday, Dec. 4 to face off against North Kitsap on the road.
They return home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 to host Cleveland.
