Local teams not doing well this vacation

High school is out for holiday vacation, but prep teams are still competing.

Kingston lost in boys basketball Dec. 22 to Peninsula 65-48.

On Dec. 21, Bainbridge fell to Port Angeles 76-56.

On Dec. 18, Bainbridge also lost to Shorecrest 65-44.

North Kitsap’s boys lost their second-straight game 71-70.

The Vikings lost their first game of the season to Mount Spokane the day before 67-65.

On Dec. 16, North Kitsap beat Timberline 72-57.

On Dec. 14, Bainbridge beat Kingston 77-44, and North Kitsap beat Sequim 87-40.

North Kitsap is 3-0 in league, 7-2 overall. BI is 2-2 and 4-4 and Kingston 1-1 and 3-4.

In girls basketball, North Kitsap beat Kingston 57-48 Dec. 16.

Port Angeles romped past Bainbridge 53-26.

On Dec. 14, Sequim beat North Kitsap 65-36, while Bainbridge beat Kingston 67-54.

North Kitsap is 5-1 in league, 5-1 overall. Kingston is 2-2 and 3-2, while BI is 1-3, 2-4.

In wrestling, North Kitsap lost to Bremerton 55-24. The Vikings won earlier in the week over Olympic 54-24.
