The Spartans fell to the high-octane offense of Bellevue in their first game in the Sea-King 3A District Tournament Saturday.
The Wolverines had home-court advantage in the battle in Bellevue, and jumped to a seven-point advantage in the first quarter and led 19-12 at the start of the second.
Bellevue busted another 19-point quarter to swell the score to 38-22 by halftime.
The Spartans and Wolverines played nearly even in the second half, 29-26, with Bellevue again on the better side of the scoring.
Oskar Dieterich led Bainbridge with 13 points, but BHS spread the scoring around and seven Spartans helped the cause.
Joey Blacker contributed 11 points, and Nick Edens added nine.
Trent Schulte finished with seven, and Blake Swanson stretched the nylon for five. Peter Lindsey had two points, and Nile Gibbs added one.
