In a closely contested championship game between the Yankees and the Mets, the Yankees hung on to win 8-7 in the AAA Championship game in the Bainbridge Island Little League.

Both teams attacked and counter attacked each other throughout the closely played game, and both teams displayed a great amount of character with timely hitting and defense playing important in the outcome.

The Yankees persevered, however, and pulled out the victory in the end with a great game to culminate the AAA season.
